Welcome to cpCommerce |
cpCommerce is an open-source e-commerce solution that is maintained by templates and modules.
This Ecommerce Script combines many utilities found in other "free" ecommerce scripts, except I allow you to completely customize the entire design by editing a single template file and the CSS (Cascading StyleSheets) each section pertains to. Due to how the script was developed, the program finds your template, and is told where to place each element in the program using easy to read tags.
Some of the basic necessities needed to run cpCommerce is a web server that is both PHP and MySQL enabled and you will need at least 5 MB of storage. You can read a much more detailed list at the Server Requirements page.

| on 06/21/2008: v1.2.0 Released Tonight! | v1.2.0 is planned for release tonight. I have the SVN updated and it should process the changes, make the patch, and the zip file available at Midnight tonight (PDT, roughly 8 hours from now).
It contains the following:
- Add htmlentities to all input from customers that is being displayed
- Correct the Sorting options when viewing a Category
- SQL injection, admin password and email address vulnerability
- Added index.php page to all directories
- Added Demographics Report (updated to use english.php)
- Paypal Bug (topic,3432.0.html)
- Only display sections that contain data on the Main Display
- JavaScript error on products with SubProductions
- MySQL 5.0 Bug corrected (topic,3399.msg.0.html)
- Change/Update a Customer's Gender in the Admin Area
- Correct an error in the Configuration.php file when printing

Matt | | | | on 05/24/2008: Beta Testing for v1.2.0 | I have taken the Changes from Jenius and provided them in a complete zip file. What I need now are testers. I have two ways of which you can get this beta, one is via a complete zip file, the other is via a Patch file.
I'll open testing up for two weeks, please download the file you wish to use and let me know what you find (if anything).
A few notes:
- I did not up the version in the files to v1.2.0, they will still reference v1.1.0
- BACKUP your store/cpcommerce directory!
- If you choose to apply the patch, please do the following:
- Copy the patch into your cpcommerce directory (or store directory, whatever you named it)
- Run the command patch -p2 < v1.2.0.patch
- Now your system is patched.
- If you use the zip file, replace your store directory (except for the _config.php file) with the contents of the zip file (Note: All of your modifications will need to be made again).
- Report any issues here, instead of the Bug forum.
